What is Factur-X?

Factur-X is a hybrid electronic invoice format that combines a human-readable PDF with structured XML invoice data embedded inside the PDF. That means the recipient can read the invoice like a normal document while accounting and business software can process the structured data automatically.

x-facture provides a dedicated Factur-X creation workflow. When you choose Factur-X, the invoice is sent to the X-Facture API to generate the hybrid PDF instead of relying only on the browser's ordinary PDF export.
